1. Overview

At GyanRank, we strive to provide the best institute management and exam platform services. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued and the process for requesting them.

We encourage all users to carefully review their subscription plans and utilize our free trial period before committing to paid subscriptions.

2. Refund Eligibility

2.1 Eligible for Refund

You may be eligible for a refund in the following situations:

  • Technical Issues: Platform is completely non-functional and we cannot resolve the issue within 7 days
  • Duplicate Payment: You were charged twice for the same subscription
  • Unauthorized Transaction: Payment was made without your authorization (subject to verification)
  • Service Not Provided: Institute account not approved within 7 days without valid reason
  • Cancellation Within 7 Days: Full refund if cancelled within 7 days of first payment (one-time only)
2.2 NOT Eligible for Refund

Refunds will NOT be issued in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after 7-day period
  • Failure to use platform features or services
  • Lack of technical knowledge or training
  • Internet connectivity issues on user's end
  • Violations of Terms and Conditions
  • Account suspended due to policy violations
  • Partial subscription period (monthly subscriptions)
  • Already consumed significant platform resources

3. Subscription-Specific Refund Terms

3.1 Monthly Subscription (₹999/month)
  • Full refund if cancelled within 7 days of first payment
  • No refund for partial months
  • Can cancel anytime to prevent auto-renewal
3.2 Annual Subscription (₹9,999/year)
  • Full refund if cancelled within 7 days of payment
  • Pro-rata refund if cancelled after 7 days but within 30 days (minus usage)
  • No refund after 30 days from payment date
3.3 Launch Offer (Special Pricing)
  • 7-day full refund policy applies
  • No refund after 7 days due to promotional pricing
  • Free months included cannot be refunded separately
3.4 Free Trial
  • Free trial periods are non-refundable (no payment involved)
  • Can cancel before trial ends to avoid charges

4. Refund Request Process

  • Institute name and email address
  • Transaction ID or payment reference number
  • Date of payment
  • Subscription plan purchased
  • Reason for refund request with details
  • Supporting documents (if applicable)
Step 3: Review Process
  • We will review your request within 2-3 business days
  • May request additional information if needed
  • Decision will be communicated via email
Step 4: Refund Processing
  • Approved refunds processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refund issued to original payment method
  • Bank processing may take additional 5-10 business days

5. Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued in specific cases:

  • Annual Subscriptions: Pro-rata refund calculated based on unused months
  • Service Downtime: Credit for extended downtime beyond SLA
  • Feature Limitations: Partial refund if promised features unavailable

Calculation: Partial refund = (Total paid ÷ 12 months) × Unused months - Processing fee (5%)

7. Payment Gateway Refunds

  • Refunds processed through PhonePe payment gateway
  • Payment gateway charges (if any) are non-refundable
  • Currency conversion charges (for international payments) are non-refundable
  • Transaction fees may be deducted from refund amount

8. Cancellation Policy

8.1 How to Cancel Subscription
  • Log in to institute dashboard
  • Go to Subscription section
  • Click "Cancel Subscription"
  • Or contact support for assistance
8.2 After Cancellation
  • Access continues until current period ends
  • No auto-renewal will occur
  • Data retained for 90 days after expiry
  • Can reactivate within 90 days without data loss

9. Exceptions and Special Cases

9.1 Force Majeure

In case of events beyond our control (natural disasters, pandemics, government actions), refund terms may be modified. We will provide fair solutions on a case-by-case basis.

9.2 Platform Discontinuation

If we discontinue GyanRank platform, unused subscription amounts will be fully refunded.

9.3 Account Violations

If your account is terminated due to Terms of Service violations, no refund will be issued regardless of remaining subscription period.

If you disagree with our refund decision:

  2. Provide additional evidence or documentation
  3. We will review again and provide final decision within 5 business days
  4. Final decisions are binding

11. Changes to Refund Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of GyanRank after changes constitutes acceptance.

Refund requests will be processed according to the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
